Venge Silencieux Cabernet Sauvignon 2014This wine opens with scents of, cassis, licorice, blackberries and coffee that lead to a concen-trated, full-bodied wine that showcases great length on the palate.
Brooks Runaway Red Pinot Noir 2015Cinammon and rhubarb, macerated strawberry and fresh raspberries with hints of orange peel and pomegranate. A slight bright fresh herbal note, tomato leaf, cedar and mushroom. In the mouth there are similar notes of orange peel and rhubarb, with forest floor and sautéed mushrooms. The wine has a beautiful mouthfeel, round with bright acidity and a finish of red fruit. Cranberry and white cherry notes on the finish, lingers lengthy with a slightly earthy mineral note. Delicious, especially with a slight chill.
Bodegas El Nido Clio 2014In its blend the Monastrell variety dominates combined with Cabernet Sauvignon.
Catena Zapata Catena Malbec 2013The Catena Malbec presents a deep violet color. This microclimate blend of four unique vineyards offers intense aromas, a soft texture, and concentrated flavor. Deep aromas of ripe red and dark fruits are joined by delicate violet and lavender notes, with traces of vanilla and mocha. A rich, concentrated mouthfeel is highlighted by flavors of blueberries and blackberries with a touch of sweet spice, and leather. The wine finishes with bright acidity, well-integrated and silky tannins, and a flinty minerality that lingers on the palate. Food Pairing: The Catena Malbec would be a wonderful complement robust red meat dishes, any agro dolce sauce, or to an earthy dish like Lamb Tagine with Dried Plums.
Banshee Mordecai 2014The 2014 Mordecai blend is reminiscent of some of our favorite hot and dry wine regions in Europe. Think ripe red and blue fruited Cotes du Rhones with their scents of dried herbs and blackberry liqueur from wines grown on the black slates of the Priorat. But the wine remains distinctly California, taking us home with its comfortingly familiar wild summer berry plushness. Home is where the shade of the oak tree is just enough respite from the dry summer heat.
Lieu Dit Sauvignon Blanc 2015A combination of both tank and barrel fermentations that are aged in neutral barrels. We source our fruit from three vineyards in Happy Canyon called Grassini, McGinley, and Star Lane. Varying soils of sand, shale and gravel at Star Lane and heavier clays with larger yellow and red chert, and serpentine rocks at both McGinley and Grassini.
Silver Oak Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2012Our 2012 Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is a dark, rich full-bodied wine with great tannic structure and mouth-feel. It has a garnet color and a nose of ripe boysenberries, cherry liqueur, dark chocolate, sandalwood and a hint of roasting meat. On the palate, it is mouth-coating and incredibly rich in umami. It has a very long, savory finish with the slight grip of fine-grained tannins. Given proper cellaring, this wine should give drinking pleasure through 2030.

Joseph Carr Merlot 2012The wine features aromas of black cherry, chocolate, mint, root beer, vanilla, cedar, and roast beef. On the palate, a soft attack of roast meat, cherry, chocolate pudding, and sage is highlighted by a medium body and food-friendly acidity, leading to a textured finish.
Walt La Brisa Chardonnay 2014Bright straw in color with a slight haze, this wine is characterized by fresh fruit, mineral texture, and barrel complexity. Battonage and sur lees aging result in a texture that resonates through the pallet with nice tension and length. Aromas and flavors of apricot, honeysuckle, sweet peaches, brioche, roasted hazelnut, fresh cream and vanilla are very prominent.

Michael David Freakshow 2014Known for taking the road less traveled, Michael David Winery has always stood apart from the crowd. Whether it be their outlandish brands and packaging or their quirky personalities, Michael and David are denitely on a stage of their own and this wine showcases just that. The fruit for this brute of a Cab comes from the original "super freak," Michael Phillips' vineyard located only a medicine balls toss away from the winery.
McNab Ridge Cabernet Sauvignon 2014Inviting scents of black cherries, tobacco and creamy vanilla with a mouth full of rich fruit and elegant integrated oak. Good weight at entry followed by a solid center and smooth finish. Tannins are moderate which suggests the wine will cellar well for several years.
Peterson Winery Dry Creek Valley Zinfandel 2012Dark aromatics reveal brambly blackberry and wild cherry generously sprinkled with black pepper. The bright entry introduces mixed dark berries, raspberry and cherry laced with rich vanillin oak, pepper and spicy acidity. Hints of chocolate appear mid-palate as the flavors broaden, and then linger in the finish. Enjoyable now, this wine will benefit from decanting if opened before 2015, or give it a bit more bottle aging to allow the components to continue to integrate. It will pair nicely with spice-rubbed baby back ribs, or spaghetti topped with meatballs.
Girard Cabernet Sauvignon 2014Aromatics suggest tobacco, bold black fruit and notes of graphite. On the palate, red, blue and black fruits are balanced by hints of currant, vanilla and mocha. The young tannins will evolve over time and help expand the long finish.
Seghesio Sonoma Zinfandel 2015Each vintage, we harvest multiple diverse lots of Zinfandel that span the entire Sonoma County Zinfandel landscape. Each of these lots is produced under the careful eye of our winemaker, Ted Seghesio. The best of these lots are selected to make Sonoma Zinfandel. A small amount of Petite Sirah is added to honor century old traditions and to provide color and structure. The result is a wine that offers tantalizing raspberry, blueberry, classic briary and spicy flavors with a balance of components for which Seghesio wines are known.
Aldo Conterno Barolo Granbussia Riserva 2005The Granbussia remains in the cellar for at least 8 years before commercialization. It is produced exclusively in the best years and in limited quantities.
Caymus Special Selection Cabernet Sauvignon 2013Caymus Special Selection is the flagship wine of the Wagner family and is comprised of the very best barrels of the vintage. This wine is not produced in difficult years. Caymus prides itself on producing wines that are as approachable in youth as well at maturity. Aromas and flavors which can only be achieved through "hang time" - a technique which chances the loss of crop if early winter sets in. Leaving the fruit to "hang" on the vine unusually long develops suppleness, increases color, and matures the tannins of the grapes. The wines are abundant in textural tannins yet soft as velvet. Crop thinning, allowing measured sunlight to reach the vine's fruit zone, and waiting for increased ripeness are all part of our viticultural practices. Caymus Cabernets offer a wide array of aromas and flavors including cocoa, cassis and vanilla.
Venge Bone Ash Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2014The 2014 vintage is the third vintage in a string of outstanding growing years. Right on par with that of the 2012 and 2013 vintages, this is Estate Cabernet Sauvignon at its best! Jelly jar, jammy notes, and cassis fill the senses, with aromatics that reside in the black fruit spectrum. The palate is concentrated, polished, and full-bodied. Black currant, blackberry and ripe cassis are all intertwined with an acid and tannin balance that will deliver a wine that will cellar beautifully. This wine will drink its best from 2018 through 2034.
Château Troplong Mondot SAINT-EMILION GRAND CRU 2012The Wine Advocate - "The 2012 is another truly great wine from Troplong Mondot. It’s always sentimental to taste this wine, realizing that proprietress Christine Valette (the larger-than-life heart and soul behind this estate) has passed away. She was one of the bright, shining stars of Bordeaux. Nevertheless, her legacy is certainly well-established, and the quality of this wine is beyond reproach. Inky bluish purple, its great notes of cassis, blackberry, licorice are followed by a full-bodied, opulently textured wine with stunning concentration, purity and overall balance. It should drink well for 20-25 years and turn out to be one of the great superstars of 2012. Their 63-acre vineyard was cropped at 31 hectoliters per hectare, producing a final blend of 90% Merlot and 10 Cabernet Sauvignon that achieved 14.2% alcohol."

Concentrated and voluptuous mouth with solid tannins toned up by a nice freshness. Very nice, lively and spiced length. A great wine with a high aging potential.
Artadi Pagos Viejos 2008The balanced production of our old vineyards, together with a limited yield and careful ageing, result in the authentic spirit of this wine. This wine is of intense colour, complex in hte nose, fully structured with a long after taste.
Orin Swift Mannequin 2013Dazzling straw-gold in color, the wine serves up superrich aromas of ripe pineapple, vanilla bean, raw coconut, and honeyed lemon. The entry is supremely lush with complex flavors of roasted fig, apricot, green apple, and orchard fruit. Further, the wine's energetic profile leads to stunning mineral notes, flint, exotic spice, and lemongrass framed in roasted marshmallow. The abundant richness remains through the finish with clarity and length, while supported with a youthful brightness.
Hess Collection Cabernet Sauvignon 2012Our replanting program on Mount Veeder offered exceptional fruit for our blend of mountain Cabernet and Malbec. The traditional red fruit aromas and flavors of the dominant Cabernet Sauvignon are led by bright cherry and wild mountain raspberry. The addition of our Malbec offers blueberry joined by notes of vanilla, cassis, creamy chocolate caramel and oak spice.
Flora Springs Trilogy 2007Flora Springs has built its legacy on beautiful and complex wines that can be enjoyed either as young and vibrant or as cellared and graceful. The 2007 exhibits all of the classic Trilogy attributes with a lovely cassis and cherry bouquet as well as huge black fruit flavors that envelope the palate. Each varietal is vital to the outcome - the Cabernet exhibits black cherry and dark cocoa character, while the Merlot carries these flavors to the back of the palate for an everlasting finish. Unrelenting with power and grace, the 2007 Trilogy, our 23rd release, beautifully marries the complexity and elegance of our earlier vintages with the sheer bravado of our favorite vintages during the late 90's.
Altesino Brunello di Montalcino Montosoli 2005The extra force the company put behind Brunello is also revealed in the concept of introducing the Cru: Montosoli is in fact a vineyard of about 5 hectares to the north east of Montalcino at an altitude between 350 and 400 metres, whose grapes were fermented and aged separately for the first time after the 1975 harvest. The composition of the soil (marly limestone and siliceous limestone representing the Alberese era with lithoid components dating from the same period), the unique position and particular microclimate contribute to ageing the grapes which produce an extremely complex and elegant wine. Brunello Montosoli has a deep ruby red colour which turns a garnet red with age. Its bouquet has outstanding character with hints of black cherry, blackberries, raspberries, violet, liquorice, vanilla and a slight accent of pink peppercorn. On the palate it reveals a dry, warm, velvety flavour, rich in substance and noble pedigree, ending with a warm note that lingers persuasively.
Volker Eisele Cabernet Sauvignon 2010The 2010 vintage is a blend of 84% Cabernet Sauvignon and 16% Merlot for palate softness and complexity of aromas. The various grape lots were picked based on optimum maturity and fermented separately to assess each vineyard block for quality and viticultural practices. Aged in French oak barrels for 24 months the wines were bottled at their peak potential. The color is a vibrant garnet, aromas of ripe black cherry fruit and sweet vanilla oak are all combined with mature tannins and good acidity to make this a great accompaniment to many cuisines. This wine has a long future, but can be enjoyed today.
